A Message from the President

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New year, new possibilities, new accounts and new friends await!

New seems to be the word of the day and PIA VA/DC is committed to bringing new members to join our community. This year we have a new Chairman of the Membership Committee, Campbell Pendleton. Thank you, Campbell, for volunteering to lead this important committee!

Current member agents and company representatives should support the committee and share with prospective agencies the advantages of PIA VA/DC. We have resources for education, sales and marketing, agency operations, advocacy that works on behalf of all independent insurance agents. Please let us know of agency that we can follow-up with either by phone or agency visit.

My wish for all of you in 2022, is health, peace and prosperity. Thank you for being a vital part of PIA VA/DC.

Welcome to the Hybrid World!

First Hybrid Course Launched on 12/2

90 attendees, both in-person and virtual, attended PIAVADC's 12/2-12/3/2021 Hybrid Ruble Graduate Seminar. Using a wealth of technology, lessons learned from other agencies, tech savvy contacts, and independent research, Sheryl Chasse, PIAVADC Education Director, setup and conducted the first course of its kind for PIAVADC.

The instructor and in-person students are on-site, and the virtual students are in attendance via webinar. One instructor, one curriculum, one-stop-shopping.

Interested? Currently, there are four hybrid courses scheduled for 2022:

PIA VA/DC Professional Liability Team Recognized by Utica National

PIA VA/DC has been a consistent award winner with Utica over the past five years, having won awards for New Business, Retention and Total Written Premium Growth. 2021 was no different.

At their 12/8/2021 Annual E&O State Sales and Appreciation meeting, PIA VA/DC won 1st place for Lowest Loss Ratio.
