Things are starting to get even busier here at PIA.
First, we have our annual charity golf tournament on May 9th at Brookwood’s Golf Club in Quinton to benefit Special Olympics Virginia. Come out and play or come help us run the event. Go to our website to register at www.piavadc.com
Second, our 85th annual convention is at the newly renovated Sheraton Oceanfront - Virginia Beach on June 29-30th. We have dynamic speakers and a fast-paced agenda. Our Trade Fair booths have sold out but the Trade Fair is FREE to agents. So please plan on joining us on June 29th for the Trade Fair as well as a seminar about social media that will have you creating and posting a video when you’re done. 2022 PROPAC
Once again, the PIA and you were represented at the Virginia General Assembly by lobbyists Mike Sanford and Kevin Kowar. Mike and Kevin attended Commerce & Labor Committee meetings and met with various State Senators and Delegates to either ask them to advance legislation that was in the best interests of our members or to kill legislation that was not.
Our PROPAC (Political Action Committee) also supported several candidates in 2021 whose values are similar to ours. In order to continue our efforts to support those candidates who will support legislation that benefits our association, we are asking you to donate to our PAC.
