For convenience, it is nice to have your cyber added to your E&O policy; however, in reality it may not be the best coverage available. We recommend placing your cyber coverage separately with a company that offers both 1st and 3rd party liability. Many offer 1st party (expense coverage) only, which leaves a gap in coverage.
When it comes to stand-alone cyber liability Great American offers competitive rates and excellent coverage for our PIA members. We have partnered with GAIG to offer a special program, with coverage enhancements, available only through the PIA of VA/DC. However, we also offer other carriers such as Lloyd’s, North American Capacity, ARCH Ins Co., Hartford Steam Boiler, and others.
Split limits offered up to $1,000,000 with minimum premiums starting at $500. Shared limits available up to $3,000,000. Broad 50/50 consent to settle clause included and Great American offers coverage for both social engineering and fund transfer fraud.
